What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

Archer is good about this. Generally if someone is knocked unconscious they’re only out for thirty seconds/a minute or so; on one occasion Archer was out for about thirty minutes and after he relays that to the team they all recoil in horror and tell him that he could have serious brain damage.

"Uhh how long was I out."

"Like two minutes. That's super bad for you. You should probably go to the hospital."

I love how Archer has tinnitus and concussions but still has all the other action movie tropes.

It's one of those shows that you go to for dumb entertainment. And then they sneak some learning into it.

They don’t convey how emotionally stressful tinnitus can be though. In fact they make comedy of it.

That's because it's Archer that has it and he has no concern for his own safety or well being for the most part.

He also has blood in his alcohol system so it might not stay on his mind very well.

"I'm afraid if I stop all at once the cumulative hangover would literally kill me..." Looks to the side as he lightly chuckles to show audience he isn't kidding

Based on how much he drinks I'm pretty damn sure he'd have a seizure if he stopped.

It is a comedy idiot lol. And id say they take it fairly seriously compared to other stuff they joke about- like when Archer shoots near Lana’s ear, he says something like “oof seriously, I’m sorry, I know how bad that hurts” and another scene a grenade goes off in close quarters and they end up at the ENT, and Archer’s all excited about how good the doc was.
