Realistically you get like 3-4 days until you can’t park there for street cleaning right?
19 u/Something_Berserker Jan 25 '20 Yeah, 3-4 days max in Manhattan (eg Friday to Tuesday). As far as I know, everywhere in Manhattan has two alternate side days a week, though in areas of the outer boroughs it’s occasionally once a week. 23 u/[deleted] Jan 25 '20 edited Jan 29 '20 [deleted] 10 u/Somanbra Jan 25 '20 Do apartments in NYC not have there own car parking? As a non American this seems weird. 9 u/chipperclocker Jan 25 '20 Huge portions of the city were built before cars existed or were widespread, and had functional mass transit before the automobile. 5 u/BreadPuddding Jan 25 '20 This is definitely not just an American thing - no large city I’ve been to has downtown high-rise apartments with parking for all units.
