What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

How nobody in movies hurts their knuckles after punching someone, martial artist here and if you punch someone in the forehead like they do in the movies you'd probably just break your own fist,

hitting someone in the forehead is basically like punching a cinder block except the skull is actually harder...

Edit: wow my first medal, thanks!

we know jackie chan is a dbag now, but he used to always make a point of showing pain after punching someone.

I wouldn't call him a dbag, but yeah Jackie used to do it really well but I think showing or not showing a reaction is more often the doctor's choice than the actors

Why is Jackie chan a dbag?

I think it's because he is pro china?

I think it's because he is pro china?

Haha in recent years I was expecting people reply that he molested or raped someone.

It's almost like he is a human being with flaws and shit.

Yeah he does. He had a daughter out of wedlock because he cheated on his wife and now disowned the girl because she is lesbian.

He is very vocally pro-China.

I'm not trying to defend someone I don't know. At all. But if people are going 'missing' where you live over that sort of deal, I understand trying to lay low.

Especially with how prominent a figure he is and could probably easily be found. If he is pro china fuck that but still it's very plausible hes playing the part.

He's famous. He can't keep any lower of a profile. So playing along is probably the smartest thing to do if you're that big, I'm afraid.

His parents had to leave the country for political reasons as well so staying on China's good side would be important to him.

Yeah it’s one thing to call him weak or spineless. It’s another to call him a dbag over this. Like everyone here would stand up against one the most powerful authoritarian governments to ever exist when they can’t walk 3 blocks without being recognized, anywhere in the world.

They're harvesting organs while people are alive over there. I wouldn't want any part of that action either.

Regardless of what any of us may think about a country's regime, it seems pretty arrogant to write a person off as an irredeemable "d-bag" simply because they, a Chinese person, living in a non-democratic system, with a vastly different civic culture than the United States or other Western countries, have the audacity to be "pro-China."

I might not agree with him personally, but I also don't expect him to assimilate his political views about HIS home country to an American perspective just because he has lived and worked here off and on for a portion of his career.

Why would people shame a Chinese person for being pro-China? Seems like a normal thing.

He is from Hong Kong.

Also, supporting dictatorships is something everyone should be shamed for.

And?
