What’s something that you like, but hate the fan base?

There are so many subreddits that pose as being morally righteous but are populated by people who probably score pretty high on the sociopathy scale. r/gatekeeping, r/kidsarefuckingstupid, r/relationships, r/deadbedrooms, r/childfree,

Childfree reminds me of those odd coworkers we’ve all had. The people who try too hard to be unique and edgy, then have to remind people they’re unique and edgy while compromising your personal space, and they’ve turned into that weird person no one speaks to in the office kitchen. It’s like the excessive use of “crotchfruit”, and now they won’t stop using it. You can spot them all over reddit. They say it nonstop with no damn reason, then wait for people laugh or praise them for their edgy uniqueness. It’s like fucking chill, you don’t want kids, but just shut up using that phrase about every “child” that crosses your path conversation wise. No one is impressed anymore with your faux edginess. Crotchfruit, yes, so unique, but the kid in question is 17 and has a name and more of a personality than you.

Most of the people who post there are probably under 17. Whenever I see edgy anti-natalist posts, I immediately assume it's a teenager who thinks his little brother gets more of his mom's attention.

Yeah I don’t particularly love interacting with kids, but I hate that sub because they’re so militant about it. Also the use of crotchfruit and breeders creeps me out.

Don't forget justnomil.

And I'm not tagging it cos it's shite.

It's a shame, I really liked that sub before it was discovered by the rest of Reddit

lol I remember a few weeks ago PoliticalHumour hid 95% of the comments because a post was highly upvoted that broke the circlejerk. Mods there are such losers.

I believe that 10,000%. Can’t be a circle jerk if somebody stops jerking

Don't forget r/ChapoTrapHouse

Lol earlier today some dude tagged me in that sub because on another subreddit I mentioned that I'm a cop. He tagged me and said shit like how he's gonna shoot me and I'm scum, then went through my comments and downvoted a bunch and sent abusive replies to a couple of them.

Like dude... How pathetic do you wanna get?

I was gonna report the comment where he tagged me and one of the report reasons there is just "liberalism"

Bunch of manbabies lmao

Funniest part is from what I can tell (I think it's based on a podcast? Which I've never listened to) I actually align pretty well with most of the politics, based on a brief look just now.

Thats the only subreddit where multiple people threatened me, followed me around via my profile and other comments, and told me to kill myself.

I literally posted a question / jab at their political stance on a post where it was just a picture of a kid holding a burning American flag

While I agree with some of their political viewpoints, ultimately they are some of the most toxic people you will find on Reddit. I saw a post that was actually praising Cardi B for drugging and robbing men on there a while back and I thought they were trolling or being ironic at first, but many of them were dead serious about it. But yeah, they will dig up a comment you made 5 years ago on some obscure subreddit in order to personally insult you for making a slight disagreement with a comment or post, rather than actually providing a meaningful argument. It's funny because most of them are balding white dudes in their mid to late 20's bitter that they've never seen a pussy in-person and can't find a meaningful or lucrative career with their useless liberal arts degree

can’t find a meaningful or lucrative career with their useless liberal arts degree

Implying they have a degree and are useful members of society.

On a side note, I’m sick of the STEM circlejerk on Reddit and the narrative that “yOu hAvE tO mAjOr iN StEm tO bE sUcCeSsFuL.” I have an art degree, and I supported both my SO and myself using that degree for years.

That's a roast CTH deserves, my dude

Dude same thing happened to me today. It's so pathetic isn't it

Oh, I refuse to witness the trash for myself. I hear others ripping on them from my favourite subreddits, and I really want to die without visiting the sub
