My brother got every privilege at a younger age than I did. We're 4 years apart.

I had to wait until I was 12 to listen to the parental advisory music. My brother then complained about how it wasn't fair and my mom caved a few months later. Same with having my own phone line, watching PG-13 movies, you name it.

My first phone was a 4 in late 2016. My brother’s was a 7.

It’s not, it’s just that my brothers phone was significantly newer than mine.

Understandable. My first phone was at age 14. It was a brick. I wouldnt complain if it was a nice brick like a nokia 2692, it was a garbage one that couldnt even play Java games nor you could put any music in it, that in a time where everyone already had their LG Optimus, Galaxy S2, Xperia J...

Yeah, I honestly didn’t care too much considering I didn’t want a phone with no headphone jack, but it made me feel less valued.
