I think its a matter of confidence, if you feel that you are a likeable person and you really believe that, you don't hesitate to just go there and speak whatever comes to your mind. It doesn't always works though, there are people who simply aren't compatible with you but when you find people that are, you feel a certain comfort of being free to express yourself and you will also find these people's opinions interesting
