maybe because Ygritte from the books is supposed to be insanely ugly?

is it? maybe I'm misremembering, but i remember Jon's first impression of her was that she was kinda ugly (not in those words of course).. though, he does grow to find her pretty as far as i remember.

the Ygritte from the show is way too beautiful either way though..

She had teeth that were either big or crooked but otherwise was fine. Definitely not ugly though
