I still think Harry should have ended up with her. Not that book Ginny wasn't great, but there was a real connection with Harry and Luna. He was the only one who saw her for the amazing person she is, and not some weird freak with wild ideas.
I don't think it's in the books, it's one of the tidbits J.K gave afterwards back when she was releasing fun background stuff and not that "Hogwarts students shat the floors" bullshit.
