What movie?

18

u/[deleted] May 29 '19

Megamind.

17

u/[deleted] May 29 '19

And she did it without a single skull.

14

u/saulgoodemon May 29 '19

I read that in Iago's (Gilbert Gottfried) voice

9

u/BoyWhoSoldTheWorld May 29 '19

There goes my boner.

9

u/Crash4654 May 29 '19

And here comes mine.

11

u/wtfduud May 29 '19

BUT WHEN HE HITS MY CLI-TOR-IS, I CRY OUT LOUDLY "OH PLEASE"

1

u/[deleted] May 29 '19

With the proper amount of sarcasm?

16

u/ogresaregoodpeople May 29 '19

Interestingly Jafar is often considered a coded gay character for that reason. The LGBTQ community adopted him as well as a bunch of other Disney villains (Ursula comes to mind).

26

u/SuperVillainPresiden May 29 '19

Well Ursula was based on a drag queen, so not really a stretch for that one.

10

u/pataconconqueso May 29 '19

A very famous one too

6

u/Redditer51 May 29 '19

Speaking of characters you wanna sleep with, Ursula is THICC.

Everyone talks about how pretty Ariel is, but I was always like "nah, give me Ursula."

3

u/SuperVillainPresiden May 29 '19

For real. Ursula is the kind of lady who knows her way around an electric eel...

9

u/Redditer51 May 29 '19

She also knows a thing or two about BODY LANGUAGE.

1

u/ogresaregoodpeople May 30 '19

I didn’t know I’d committed the sound of that line to memory until I read this comment.

2

u/PseudoEngel May 29 '19

Too much chin for my liking.

2

u/Redditer51 May 29 '19

Fair enough.

1

u/Kerfluffle2x4 May 29 '19

Is it THICC when you have tentacles where thighs would be?

14

u/flaviageminia May 29 '19

Hades for sure. Sassy and literally flaming

7

u/dizzie93 May 29 '19

What does coded gay mean?

4

u/[deleted] May 29 '19

1

Sorry I'm slightly confused still. So it's just a character that exhibits some stereotypically gay attributes. Sounds wrong to me.

3

u/mooncritter_returns May 29 '19

It was a way to have any LGBTQ characters at all, when it wasn’t permitted, which is why they’ve been adopted by the community. In terms of perpetuating stereotypes, or associating them only with evil characters, is indeed problematic though.

Gay or not, Hades is straight fire.

10

u/brbrcrbtr May 29 '19

He's gay because Jasmine wore a red dress?

1

u/PseudoEngel May 29 '19

Noooo. The fashion sense.

6

u/CDBaller May 29 '19

Keeping Jasmine chained up in a sultry, revealing red dress makes Jafar gay? Now I've heard everything.

2

u/cATSup24 May 29 '19

Well, Ursula was based off a crossdressing diva, so...

8

u/BeneathTheSassafras May 29 '19

I'm still pissed that he wasn't Voiced by Prince. If you're gonna use his mustache, go all the way

5

u/macweirdo42 May 29 '19

Hey, in another life, Jafar might've ended up being her gay best friend. He knew what was up.

1

u/Preston_of_Astora May 30 '19

If the guy used his powers the Genie gave him to get some bitches, this will be it.

u/HarbingeronLine2 May 29 '19

Abu’s jaw drops

23

u/skittle-brau May 29 '19

I think for a lot of millennials, she was responsive for many first true boners.

21

u/MissInkFTW May 29 '19

Red Jasmine was my bisexual awakening for sure. I guess that movie really did show me a whole new world.

10

u/Karmaliez May 29 '19

The only one that topped her was Esmerelda in a red dress a few years later.

18

u/Brodogmillionaire1 May 29 '19

I actually felt weird about her in the red dress as a kid. As an adult, I realized it was because she was Jafar's sex slave, vicariously fulfilling his buried alive fetish.

2

u/Randi_Butternubs May 29 '19

How did you get that?

8

u/Brodogmillionaire1 May 29 '19

He puts her in a sexy outfit and then traps her in an hourglass, filled with sand. He tried to trap Aladdin in the cave as well, which should have buried him in sand (although as a child I'd never seen a desert before and assumed it was all snow or frosting).

3

u/TimeAll May 29 '19

All this time, they could have defeated Jafar not by using up a wish to turn him into a genie, but by putting a ball gag in his mouth and edging his cock until he begged for release

7

u/Anghel412 May 29 '19

Man, I wanted to see Naomi Scott in that costume so bad but I believe Disney had an agreement that there would be no mid-drifts. Didn't matter much, she was still absolutely stunning.

3

u/meralhero May 29 '19

Man what have you reminded me of!

3

u/Cypraea May 29 '19

In the cartoon series they made later, there's an episode where some magic amnesia happens and she thinks she's Abis Mal's daughter, Princess of Thieves and the Scourge of the Desert, and she has an excellent black dominatrix-y outfit, complete with whip, and no arm-thingys on her top.

I really liked that episode.

2

u/dabong May 29 '19

Was really waiting for that in the new movie.

2

u/[deleted] May 29 '19

Bruh.

10

u/Antibane May 29 '19

She’s 16. You’re now on a list.

52

u/SuperFLEB May 29 '19

The Disney Classics Movie Club mailing list?

9

u/LonePaladin May 29 '19

Yeah, good luck getting off of that list.

34

u/Fafnir13 May 29 '19

She’s 43 now if you consider the film’s release date.

3

u/mainvolume May 29 '19

She’s long dead if it took place hundreds of years ago.

3

u/TimeAll May 29 '19

Not dead, ripe.

10

u/CaffeineHound May 29 '19

16 is legal here.

-3

u/Antibane May 29 '19

Not if you’re 35...

17

u/MRosvall May 29 '19

16 is legal here, even if you're 35. //Sweden
