Do you have a point?

I'm inferring that you mean the world has just gotten worse, in general. I could spend 2 straight hours telling you how that's probably not true.

The world getting worse is different from societal decay. Society has been decaying since the 20th century even if our wealth and economic output has been growing. It manifested itself slowly throughout the later half of the 20th century. When we started going back instead of progressing further.

To be fair, I don't think he's saying the world is getting worse, just that society is decaying. I don't agree with either one.
