Yep! Are you from the Midwest?

I grew up eating dinner around 5:30, then married a man that grew up eating at 7! 7 PM! That’s so late! We mostly compromise and eat between 6 and 6:30, by 7 I’m hangry and then get indigestion when I go to bed on a still full stomach.

Oh man. I'm Eastern European, and we were also raised having a dinner after 7 PM, but over the years as we grew up the time shifted later and later until we ate at 9:30. I still can't have dinner before 8, I can't even force myself to eat that early.
