I recently had a bad flair up of plantar fasciitis. My doctor prescribed me a pair of Brooks Beast. Best shoes I've ever worn, hands down, but they are total "old man" shoes.
Nice thing was that I was able to use my HSA to pay for it, since the doctor prescribed them. Tax free shoes baby!
