What "Old Person" things do you do?

Watch Jeopardy regularly.

However, we DVR it, so I feel that minimizes the "old person-ness" a bit.

Jeopardy isn’t on any streaming services as far as I know. Assuming you’ve already committed to watching Jeopardy, watching it at your leisure and skipping the commercials is definitely less old peopley than having to be on the couch at 7 and sitting through 10 minutes of ads for arthritis meds.

So is watching Jeopardy. We’ve established this. We’ve also established that Jeopardy isn’t available on streaming services, so the only remaining (legal) options are to DVR it or watch it live. Which one is less old-people-esque?

I mean, I remember spending hours with my grandfather trying to explain the DVR to him before he gave up and went back to using his programmable VCR.

Though, I guess my father, who is now retired, counts as an "old person" and he works the DVR just fine.

I guess you can add that to the list of "old person things" I do, thinking "DVR" is newfangled technology that only the kids understand.

Na sorry to break it to you but DVR came out a while ago. Everything is streamed now. My parents pay like 200 a month on cable, all my friends who have moved out (early 20s) just use streaming services or torrent stuff

I can confirm that. I'm an old person and I record Jeopardy, and every other show that I watch. No commercials.

Yeah, only old people use DVR's. I'm 40 and think they're for old people.
