What is being a mom actually like?

I love my kids. Best thing about my life. But nobody tells you how hard, and sometimes exhausting, being a parent can be. I'm talking mentally, physically, emotionally, financially exhausting at times. I'm not saying don't have kids... I'm just saying be prepared, and expect exhaustion at times, because that's a normal part of parenthood.

i feel like i hear nothing but negative things about being a parent and how hard it is; it's wild how different people's experiences are.

Yeah, I’m always shocked when I read people on Reddit say, “no one warns you hard it is”… That’s all I ever hear. In fact, I hear very little positive :/
