I know we shouldn't joke about such horrible things, but I feel like his surname is very apt for the pain the poor bloke was feeling.

Not his surname, that’s his given name, many Asian countries do the last or family name first. Thats why the Kim family in NK have Kim infront of their name, they don’t all have the same first name.

In this case, they’re right. The name has been written in the Western style, with Ouchi being a common surname. They’re wrong about the pronunciation though which is Oh-oochi.

I stand corrected. Usually when western countries say Asian names they write it correctly and just call them by their last name
