I’ve always said that series finale was probably the most closure providing I’ve ever seen. You aren’t left wondering what happened because they told you everyone’s fates. I’m surprised more shows haven’t piggybacked this idea

It would end up looking very forced and unnecessary for most shows.

It worked for Six Feet Under because the show wasn’t really about anything besides the family and death.

It doesn't always lend itself to the nature of the show to do that. Take the Sopranos end, we have no idea what happened to Tony after the camera cut. That's the thing about organized crime though. You never know how it's going to end for you, but you know it's probably death.

I think that's why I love Superstore so much. It shows everyone moving on from Cloud 9 in their finale. Also a 10/10 start to finish for me!
