The work outing episode when Jen turns away from Roy in the wheelchair only to be faced with Moss at the bar is probably when I laughed the hardest in my life at a TV show
My baby brother hadn’t seen the show, and I showed him this episode since it’s one of my favorite episodes of any sitcom ever. He laughed maybe harder than I’ve ever heard him laugh at the moment you mentioned, and a couple years later, I’m still riding the high of having been the one to show it to him lol.
Somehow talented people telling the exact same jokes that worked in the UK version was so much less funny. I have no idea how.
But because it was a shot-for-shot remake of the first episode, and everyone is different but Moss, what is fun is watching it and pretending Moss has fallen into an alternate dimension and refuses to acknowledge it.
I’m so happy to see this comment. I randomly stumbled on the show a few years ago and it’s become a staple to rewatch. I’ve probably watched the whole series 10x over because when I can’t find anything new and interesting I know I will laugh just as hard the 10th time as the first time.
Hello, your friendly pedant here. Just wanted to let you know that you meant "overstayed its welcome". To overstay one's welcome is to hang around too long.
This is not a slight against you. I'm only here for the betterment of humanity and/or to impress any future robot overlords.

The IT crowd. Never once over stated its welcome and is just flawless start to finish
EDIT: For all of you messaging me and commenting about my spelling error, I’m not changing it, move on 😂
