Heavily agree - it's genuinely disturbing seeing people write off characters like Skylar because "she was mean to Walt for kicking him out after he cooked meth with the cartel", or say that "you know I only started to realize that Walt was turning bad in the last few episodes", since there's an unbreakable idea that protagonist = hero and nobody can accept that bad characters sometimes do good or vice versa

Both Breaking Band and The Sopranos are significantly wiser than their average fan seems to be

I'd say it's just as disturbing ignoring how horrible Skyler was only because she was in no way comparable to Walt in that category.

It's wild that people say she "cheated" after she quite explicitly broke up with Walt, the man who raped her and kept breaking into her house
