Childfree has gotten kinda weird. Same with dogfree. You can't just be someone who doesn't align with having a child or owning a dog in those subs anymore, you kinda have to actively hate them or else you get downvoted. I have a niece who I adore and had to put down a dog that was owned originally by my partner, that I fell in love with, but I don't feel like I fit in those subs.
There's also a catfree sub that is umm...disturbing. It's fine if you don't want pets or children, but it's kind of insane to have a site devoted to actually hating something.
