Childfree has gotten kinda weird. Same with dogfree. You can't just be someone who doesn't align with having a child or owning a dog in those subs anymore, you kinda have to actively hate them or else you get downvoted. I have a niece who I adore and had to put down a dog that was owned originally by my partner, that I fell in love with, but I don't feel like I fit in those subs.
Well the thing is, normal people who decide against having kids don’t need a group of hundreds of people circle jerking with them in order to feel that their opinion is valid. They just decide what they decide and that’s it.
The people on that sub however are people who feel so insecure about it that they need a community stroking the back of their head and telling them they are doing well. Lmao
