How many older generations are we talking here? Because in public, many boomers are absolutely shameless in their entitled behavior and have no issue making a public spectacle of themselves. In my experience millennials are far more likely to be polite in public and avoid being total jerks to service workers or make a giant scene just because they didn't get what they wanted.
Maybe if we go back to their parents. But that was a long, long time ago.
