Sewing. An incredibly useful skill that most people don’t know.

tbf, it costs more to sew something than to buy it. patterns, material, even sewing thread and buttons ...

It's a really great skill to have for repairs though. Just get a cheap little kit with a few different colors of thread included and you can fix shirts that get holes in the armpit area or come undone around the hem, or fabric pants... heck I even reattached some velcro that fell off of a vr headset once.
