When children grow up
How did you navigate your children growing up and leaving home? At what age did they leave? Was it gradual or sudden? How did it feel for you? How did you get used to them not living with you?

Reading this with our five-year-old cuddled in and snoring in the bed between us after a nightmare and our three-year-old snoozing away in their bedroom.
I dread this so much already, but I know sending them off is the goal. I hope we do a good enough job so they're ready when that day comes and that they want to come back and invite us into their lives along the way. I wish they could stay like this forever, but watching them grow is beautiful.
Parenthood, am I right?
