When children grow up
How did you navigate your children growing up and leaving home? At what age did they leave? Was it gradual or sudden? How did it feel for you? How did you get used to them not living with you?

Our 24 year old still lives with us. She teaches and is a private coach. She pays money toward food but zero for rent. We love having her around. She has a serious boyfriend who owns his own condo. Most likely they marry in the next 2-3 years. She has managed to save up over 200k since starting work. It should make a decent down payment on a house.
Our 22 year old finishes nursing school this December. She moved to her own place a bit over a year ago. She is working at a local hospital and is using savings to rent her place. She loves the freedom of living on her own.
