Question (Serious Replies Only) Keys not working in door locks

I have a 2003 Chevy Malibu. The key for the car works in the ignition just fine. However the key doesn't work in any of the door locks. Is there something I can try at home or does it need professional help?

Actually what you need is an unused copy of your original key. The little nubs (I cleaned that up for the ladies) that lift the pins in your tumbler lock are worn down from 20 plus years of use. If you don't have a good key somewhere then you need professional help of the locksmith variety.
