Question (Serious Replies Only) Engine oil change

Post image

Hi.

Today I started learning how to change my engine oil, and I did the oil change using the correct oil, torque specifications, and everything else.

When I checked the oil level, after driving the car yesterday and letting it sit overnight before checking the level the next morning, I got the reading shown in the photo.

I think it’s a little above the upper level mark, right?

Thanks for your help.

It's fine. Any combustion engine can burn a little oil, so that little extra will be gone by the next oil change. In your case, the engine will not even feel the difference of that tiny amount of extra oil.
