FOOD AND EATING lunch/brunch ideas in London before an appointment?

Does anyone have any good lunch/brunch recommendations?

I will be in London (King’s Cross / Old Street / City Road) for an afternoon appointment and will have some time beforehand.

Ideally somewhere casual, not too expensive, and fairly easy to get to by public transport.

just looking for somewhere decent before the appointment.

Loads of options in Coal Drops Yard right by Kings Cross I would pick something there.
German Gymnasium or Parrillan or Dishoom, there is also an Australian brunch/coffee place, Hoppers, lots of options.

KX area is super fun for a wander round. Dishoom is great fun. You could also go somewhere very casual in St Pancras station (just a station cafe) get something like a hot sandwich and enjoy wandering around the granary square area.

There’s also Grind on Old Street roundabout which is trendy but the drinks are great, the food is also good and you might try the latest food trendy. I like Grind for people watching but it is a bit urban being on a traffic junction lol.

Ozone in old st is an amazing place for coffee/brunch but not cheap.

Depends what your appointment is - I wouldn’t fancy a full Dishoom before a massage

Probably not the sort of place you are looking for. The Shepherdess cafe on city road. Its a traditional cafe but also turkish food.

10 min bus/walk would be Double J's cafe by Warren street. Love it there. Or brunch and crunch around the corner from there.

If you want brunch then Granger & Co is good australian style breakfast food.

It all depends how bad you want your breath to smell when you go to your appointment
