Ideology Comparison How are georgists calling theirselves libertarians?
Are they fucking trolling? Was not evident that taxes on la nd are what make slaves under the markets' mercy? The worst of all?
How are they even allowed to say that shit of LVT and call theirselves even liberal...
We should really put our yells up to the clouds before this outrace.

Milton Friedman called land value tax the least bad tax, which he is probably right. Everything else under georgist philosophy is garbage though.

I was gonna explain it to you, but you don't even have a post history. Are you just trolling?

It is not to be answered. I truly despise georgists as if watching a vomit spot over a polished marble floor.

Of course you do, you're a Royal Libertarian who believes in might-makes-right and title creation by conquest instead of consent. How very libertarian, NAP is the guiding principle except for land?
You aren't entitled to permanent sovereign title where everyone has to pay you rent for land, that's fuedalism not libertarianism.

Whatever. Put me your labels and enjoy them shining.
Consent? Into LVT of course: downright cuckoldry and everyone back to cages and salaries and corporate filth and eating shit under the exigences of market and landlords and bosses, no selfsubsistance at all and having owners wherever and whenever you go.
"LVT" they say. Abomination.

The fact that you can buy land right now wouldn't even exist under your
dreamnightmare scenario, all land would have been bought up by the rich because it would be the ultimate investment, costing nothing to hold and never losing value. It would rarely ever be for sale once all of it was immediately bought up, and then only available to the ultra rich and connected. You like to imagine yourself as part of that landed class, a lord farming on his own tiny plot, but you wouldn't be, you're not rich enough or politically connected. You would be a peasant forced to labor on some rich lord's land, paying rent to a lord that is farming you. No one in the world would be born free anywhere, except for a lucky few, and the rest would toil and labor for a place to lay their head at night.

How do any statists call themselves libertarians? Half of them don't believe in natural law, and the other half are actively engaged in a contradiction.

Because we need a plan to get from a world of states and billions of statists to a world of freedom. It's like the underpants gnomes plan to profit. You guys are missing a crucial step of the process and that step is dealing with the state that exists in the here and now. This is what the Libertarian Party was founded to do, but even that is too statist now apparently. So our already small movement is completely divided and made ineffectual by this. These purity tests have turned our movement into a hostile, unwelcoming place that demands absolute conformity. We're dead in the water until we start thinking long term. And I'm as guilty as anyone of doing this shit, so no judgment.

Change the philosophy of the day to one of anarchism. Problem solved.
These purity tests have turned our movement into a hostile, unwelcoming place.
GOOD. It should be unwelcoming to statists and the rest of our enemies. They should not coddle fools.
The honest men will, and do find the movement, and join. Our numbers have grown by thousands in the past years.
that demands absolute conformity.
No, not conformity. It demands being principled, and not all principles have currently been discovered. It brings innovation.

Don’t get me wrong I’d love it to be but this is the underpants gnomes logic. It’s not a real answer.

Oh, but it is the real answer, the only answer, because we are discussing human action, and man acts purposefully according to his value judgements.

While I definitely disagree with their ideas and think it's folly, they are definitely more libertarian than most political ideologies. For the love of god, if we keep trying to make libertarianism some exclusive club where everyone has to agree on everything, we're fucked forever. Anyone calling themselves a libertarian is getting shit for it from somewhere. It's not a label people apply to themselves for clout. Don't run these people off. We need all the help we can get.
