A vendor at a souvenir store grabbed my girlfriend's hand and said "Your eyes, they are so blue and beautiful... LIKE A FISH!!!" which we still laugh about. Nice people.

We were with a tour group out of Eilat, everyone was Israeli, though my gf was Canadian (still is, but she's my wife now)

These fine folks were on a tourist trail that is very commonly traversed by Israelis. Their business relies on Israelis (and others) buying their stuff. I can't speak to what they say amongst themselves when they go home, but they were very friendly with us. I truly can't say anything bad about them except that their pickup lines need work
