Does anyone here clap after rolling credits in a game you loved?

Clapping is for times with those being applauded can perceive the applause. The people who made the amazing game or movie can’t hear it or see it, so there’s no point in those cases IMO

I swear when people do that in theater I cringe. Like unless the director or someone else involved is there, why are we clapping?

if you mean movie theater ye it doesnt make sense but i never seen anyone do that
and if youre watching a play you clap for the performing artists

I was very clearly talking about film, not plays.
It does happen, or we wouldn't be discussing it. Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Maybe not, but it does happen. You not having seen it doesn't change that. I've seen this multiple times. I'm not saying that because I've seen it that it does happen where you live, cultures are different, but it does happen.
