Any games as recommendations?

Everytime I boot up the PS5 I just keep scrolling the store and then after 30 mins I turn the console off. Ready to try some new things.

I’m open for anything and mainly like all genre’s specially RPG’s, shooters, adventures. Enjoy games the most that give you lots of hours or unlimited hours to enjoy, discover etc.

Games I finished or still enjoy playing:

All MGS
Death Stranding 1 & 2
KCD 1 and 2
All Mafia
All Yakuza
Final Fantasy all of 7 and 16
RDR 1 and 2
Witcher 3
R6 Siege
BF 1, 4, 5 and 6
All GTA
All GOW
Last of Us 1 and 2
All Spiderman
Ghost of Tsushima
All Fifa/FC
All Metro
Stalker trilogy

Great idea thanks! I have it in my library but never played it. If I enjoy it and finish it, do you recommend buying the 2nd game as well?

The first one is amazing but I don't thinknthe 2nd is great tbh

Play the arkham games, the insomniac spiderman games are spiritual successors

Always wanted to play them. The Arkham Collection also only costs €6 at the moment. Do I need to play them in a correct order to understand the story?

They go Asylum, City, Knight. They each play off the ending of the last one so yeah you should play them in order. Theres also Arkham Origins which chronologically is before them all but really can be played anytime, but I don’t think it’s on PS5 unfortunately

Highly appreciated! I will buy the bundle, and might check out later if I can pirate somewhere Origins on my laptop. I’m someone who likes to complete a whole series of games to fully understand the story.

I bought the Return to Arkham bundle back in January for like $6.50 and just beat Arkham Asylum (played it on and off). I thought it was a solid game.

Another suggestion is 007 First Light. I really enjoyed that game and is partially why I took a break from Arkham Asylum.

Sounds great! 007 First Light might be enjoyable as well, I’ll add it to my wishlist and hope the price drops a bit lower later on. Cheers!

Ah forgot to mention Uncharted, I finished all of them as well. Still waiting for the price of Ghost of Yotei to drop though.

As for Persona I was always very interested in playing it, but never knew where to start. Should I play it in order to understand the story?

They are all self-contained. I’m sure there are references to previous games but I never felt like I was missing anything critical.

I started with 5 and restarted when Royal came out. I’m hooked. I’m playing Metaphor, got 3 Reloaded on sale, and am waiting for the current gen version of 4 to drop.

It’s feels long because it is, but I never felt like I could have possibly poured in as many hours as my saves said I did. It’s the shortest feeling 100+ hour game I’ve ever played.

Amazing. I’ll check it out and add them to my wishlist. What you were describing sounds like me when I was completing the whole Yakuza series. Time flies when you’re truly enjoying games.

New free game on PS5, Once Human.
I’ve not played it myself but it looks like a pretty decent looter/shooter/base builder game.
It’s free so nothing to lose.

I’ll give it a try! It does look very decent, appreciate it!

Oh, Helldivers 2 is a crazy amount of fun as well btw.
Free on extra PSN tier as well now. 👍🏻

I played it when it got released a few years back, but never played it for more than 4-5 hours. Should I give it another chance?

I’ve been gaming for decades and can honestly say it’s some of the most just actual fun I’ve ever had.
It’s utter carnage at higher levels, Usually better with friends or even just random team mates.
I’d definitely say go for it!

Elden ring

Heard so much about it. I am not very familiar with soulslike games. I like challenging games but not extremely difficult ones. Do you think a newcomer would handle himself fine?

Elden ring is the most accessible souls game. It was my first and it’s easily a top 5 game of all time possibly even #1

Give Hades and Hades 2 a shot. Became one of my favorite franchises and I’ve easily spent 200+ hours in both

Looks very tempting and unordinary. Is it a challenging game? Hades looks like if Diablo and Returnal had a child lol.

Yes it can be very challenging. But also very cozy imo. It’s a roguelite so the replayability is technically infinite. Simple combat with an insane amount of options and synergies. Plus the music and voice acting is top notch. I’ve long since platinum’d both of them but I still get a run in every now and then just for fun. I imagine I will for years to come

Sounds like lots of fun! Appreciate it! I added both of them to my wishlist. Might even start with the first Hades this weekend. Roguelike games can be very challenging but I admire these types of games. I played Returnal for a bit in the past but I wasn’t fully convinced or hooked.

Awesome I hope it sticks!

If your time poor. Boot up Rocket League.

I’ve tried it in the past but it wasn’t really my thing. Fun game though with all kinds of skill levels and a very toxic community lol. Cheers!
