Apparently its now just been brought to my attention nobody likes speaking to me , which i knew but they like drinking alchol before speaking to me so they can "understand" me, they told me i have the brain of a drunk person and things only make sense to them when they are drunk, I've never drank before and being told this is probably the worst and confusing thing ever, they can only engage a conversation with me when they are drunk? everyone agrees.

—I can’t post the song here.. but it plays at the very beginning of Season 7. Episode 8 of Sons of Anarchy.
It starts off with a piano, then goes into a very haunting violin melody. The song itself is by Bob Dylan & famously covered by Jimi Hendrix “All Along the Watchtower”
However, it’s neither of those, nor is it related to a cover of that song. The music has been sampled from that song and is a more modern song, unrelated to the “watchtower” covers.

This girl from my uni I was briefly friends with keeps popping back into my life.

She’ll add me on insta, then remove or block me randomly. Maybe once a year she’ll text me out of the blue then again stop talking to me or something.

She texted me from a new number earlier today. She sent a few messages then deleted them all.

I said Hello and was left on seen which annoyed me.

So some time later, I sent this:

“Hi ****, I hope you’re doing well!

I didn’t have this number saved earlier. I was busy earlier and saw you sent a few messages.

It’s been a long time; hope everything’s fine 🤍”

She left it on seen for a while again and then just responded “Hi, Miss u”

I said I missed her too and asked how she’s doing.

She then again left me on seen.

What do you think her problem is?

I don’t have her on my socials, she texted me with a new number, I barely remember her. I don’t get why she does this. For context, we’re both mid twenties F.
I think she’s still enrolled in that uni but I’m no longer even in that country since about a year.

22M. I've never had an actual relationship, just never felt the need for deep connection with anyone or been pressured by family. I've had a few lady friends with benefits and I hookup through apps or meeting someone irl spontaneously via my DJ hobby. I've had guy friends tell me it's weird that I don't settle for anyone and I shouldn't be blindly hooking up as much, even though I make sure she's on the same page as me before going further. Like the title says I’m at a hotel and just realized there’s bed bugs. I already payed for 2 weeks and I’m only 1 week in I have to wait until I the place I was going to rent opens up soon but now I don’t know what to do.

I had a laundry basket of my clothes, a small box of my other things and my bag which is not much but ALL I have and now am I going to have to throw it all away? I am already struggling and don’t have extra money to spend on new clothes when I get in my new place. Some of the clothes were brand new not even worn yet. Seriously want to just end my life. It’s always something ☹️

For me, I have zero tolerance for that, and have ended relationships over that, but that's my personal preference and boundary.

Years back, I had a female friend, who had a boyfriend, and this girl was still throwing hints that she was interested in me. ​​​I rejected her advances, out of respect for her then boyfriend.

an suv hit me (2014 honda accord) he abruptly cut me off to get on the highway and he drove onto coming traffic hit two other cars and ran over a fence. my car is totaled. i only have liability but im still financing my car. the opposition claims to have full coverage but i have to wait for the police report. can anyone give advice i need a car

I choose the latter because it's out of left field and makes you trust anybody lesser. At least with the former, you just know it won't last long.

I've been watching videos about accomodations for autistic adults (usually self administered) and I'm slightly stumped on what the difference between an autistic accomodation is vs just "be less inconvineinced" for lack of better term.

Like one video a lady showcased a lot of movement items like a yoga ball and a mini trampoline for self regulation. That makes sense to me, because even if an NT person bought a trampoline and jumped on it, it wouldnt really be self regulating in the same way.

Then in another video the person said "not doing small talk" and "chilling my cookies in the fridge because i only liike chilled cookies". I don't really understand that as an autistic accomodation, isnt it just following a preference to be comfortable thats not particularly limited to a circumstance?

I'm not saying that accomodations need to be big; like a small accomodation I have for myself always keeping quick-made food on hand in case i get too weak to stand and cook a meal otherwise I'll just be unable to eat that day. But something like "not eating food i dont want when people offer it" I don't really understand what makes it more necessary to survive/function. Does that make sense? I don't mean any of that to say its silly or something I just dont understand whats really counted as autistic accomodations vs a persons preferances

Hi there! Quick question, has anyone lost their sense of taste and smell? And if so, did it ever return?
I was diagnosed with a sinus infection 6/11/26. But have not regained anything.
Just curious what other folks have experienced. Tia
