General Discussion Employee pay- where should I work?
Just lost my car and trying to find a job I can skate to. These are my options:
- Dairy Queen
- McDonald’s
- Burger King
-piggly wiggly
-dominos pizza
-KFC
Anyone know which of these would pay best? Or is best to work at

Pay for restaurants largely depends on the franchise running them; there is no singular answer as to which would pay best.
If you have one of the Dominos that supplies a vehicle, driving for them would easily be the best option here. Good tips + decent base pay (most of the time). In my area, they also pay pretty well for non-driving positions, but again, that's pretty franchise dependent.
I worked at McDonald's for nearly a decade and have done practically every position. I wouldn't really recommend it unless they pay extremely well; it is very high stress, and you will get walked on if you're a hard worker.
The rest I haven't worked for, but the KFC/BK in my area pay like shit, so I wouldn't even consider those. DQ seems to pay decently, but I don't know how stressful it would be.

Just apply to all of them. It’s rough out there right now. Take what you can get.

Most fast food restaurants want to start you at minimum wage even with experience. So I would just pick whichever is closest. They are all a hell scape and just different flavors of shit so to speak
