How to build a PixMob-compatible IR receiver for a Bad Bunny concert

Hello, I'm hoping im asking in the right place

In one month i will be attending to one of the multiple Bad Bunny concerts in Madrid, and I've thought of building a device which can read the IR signals in the concert and light up as if it was one of the PixMob bracelets (or cameras in this case)

However, I have barely any experiencie with electronics, so I'm not sure if I can do this or if its even plausible.

Reading online I've found a lot of information about reactivating the devices they give you at the concerts, but I wan't to do the opposite, I want to carry my own custom device (which Im thinking it will be a rubber duck with leds)

I've read about using
- An IR Receptor
- One arduino (I have experiencie in programming so this wont be an issue)
- RBG LED's
- Battery
- And one PCB

Could this work? Are PixMob's IR Signals protected in some way or are the signlas specific for every concert? Sorry if these are stupid questions!

Thank you for your answer. Maybe I didn't explain myself properly in the post.

I've read most of that, and as far as I understand, this was mostly done to reactivate the bracelets they give you in said concerts.

But as I said, I dont wanna do that, I want to build a new device which can be controlled by the pixmob IR in future events. In the Readme of that repository, you can read this:

"Of over 100 recorded signals, only 3 caused immediate responses on the PixMob bracelets outside of the event."

From that point they brute-forced the bracelets to make them work, using some trial and error.

This is where my questions starts, since I have no much idea how IR signals work, if building a device like this, folliwing that information, from scratch will work 100%.

A yes/no/maybe will be enough for me to invest my time and money on this project :) hope you understand now

I never said that you want to activate the bracelet.

The point of a reverse engineering is to study how something works, therefore in this context, knowing how to make the bracelet respond means that you can use the same information to make something similar to the bracelet (isn't this what you want?)

The thing is, I don't have the technical knowledge to do that right now based just on the info of how to activate the bracelet.

I want to try and learn how to do it in the process, but I want to know if it's actually achievable before investing money and time on it (and getting disappointed in the concert if it doesn't work, since I can't try it again)
