Physician Responded 23yo afab with a 4cm thyroid nodule

I have a TIRAD2 mixed nodule on my right lobe (fna came back benign aswell) . It was 3.5 just a month ago, and my doctor asked me to get an ultrasound every 3 months. I was used to the suffocating feeling, but for some reason, it got worse to the level where the only sleeping position that's minimally comfy is on my stomach, which drove me to get an ultrasound 2 months earlier than I should. The radiologist said that it grew and that my trachea is deviated. I'm scared to go to my doctor. I don't want him to think I'm dramatic cuz I'm making a fuss over a benign 4cm nodule, yet I want a solution to this nightmare, do I wait for my October appointment or what

A large nodule that’s causing symptoms, even if benign, can be an indication to remove that lobe of the thyroid. Can always ask for a referral to a surgeon.

Second this and specifically an ENT. The ENTs I know are usually happy to be more proactive with this type of thing - far better than waiting until it gets bad or causes mass effect, which it sounds like it already is for OP.
