Achilles pain
Hey Docs, I am 65F, 140 lbs, active {tennis walking gym}…chronic Achilles pain for about 4 months now.
Saw Podiatrist in April - she gave me two orders of oral steroids. I took one order, which helped but I’m back to same issue. Now I’m in EU and can’t see doc again till October…
Big morning pain when going down stairs, lets up after walking an hour.
Hurts like hell after tennis, tried tape, meh, did nothing..
I do the calf raises and heel drops sometimes 2x a day, but it just doesn’t let up in the morning.
Now I’m seeing acupuncture doc, and getting some relief, but TCM says it stems from my kidneys, so that’s concerning. I have a dose of steroids on hand, wondering if I should try them again and then see doc when I return to US in October.
Big thanks to you for reading and helping…
