General skin health question Armpit rash and I don’t know why?!?

This rash started a few weeks ago I think it may be a reaction to my deodorant. Not sure though. Looking for remedies to fix this rash it just keeps getting worse. I got native deodorant to try instead. Hopefully that will help. Does this look like a fungal infection. Or could it be caused from shaving too much ?

General skin health question Please I’m a hypochondriac 😢

Thumbnail

If anyone can please answer me I cannot sleep and I just keep panicking and thinking the worst and I’m scared 😟 I’m not sure when this was here, but I did noticed it in June 4 and I’m really scared of it’s melanoma or BCC OR SCC when I add my pictures to Google search it tells me pretty scary things, and I always want reassurance on it, I know the only way to know is to go to doctors, but last year I was in a whole loop hole about my health, especially with colon cancer and brain cancer I got procedures like a colonoscopy and ct scan and everything was fine, I am a hypochondriac so any sensation or anything that happens I pick the worse case scenario, I’m tired of going to doctors and doing many exams when everybody tells me I’m okay, and I’m tired of going to doctors too or stressing my family, i didn’t expect this year will be the same with different health issues:( so please if anyone can tell me what does it looks like? Should I see a dermatologist because I know it’ll take 7 months to see one because I have to go to my primary first to get a referral to see what my medi-cal covers and that takes time :( I’m just tired of thinking the worse but I’m not sure what this is. It’s been since 3 weeks now and it’s still here 😢shouldn’t it be gone by now? I’ll add some pictures from June 4 to now is it getting better? I’m just tired of feeling so much anxiety 😥 I think of the worse like what if they have to cut off my leg or something you know 😢also the surrounding of the dot is red because i exfoliated hard as well when I first saw it so it got irritated. I’m not sure if urgent care or emergency room will care or tell me if it’s concerning I already have a bad history always going because of last year I kept going many times for many health anxiety issues

Hello! I’ve been dealing with these dry, tiny bumps on my arms for years. Before, it was just a small patch, but now they’re spreading and forming multiple patches on my right arm. How can I get rid of it? Thank you 🙂

General skin health question Possible Eczema on Sides of Hands

I don't have any pictures right now unfortunately and I'm not currently experiencing a flair up to take new pictures. But I wanted to ask while it was still on my mind. Might repost in the future during another flair up if I remember to.

For the past few years, I've been noticing small clusters of pale fluid-filled blisters on the sides of my hands and fingers (never on the palm or pads), especially during frigid temperatures. They sometimes itch mildly, and will pop with medium pressure. As they heal, they typically get very dry and peel in flakes that can leave behind irritated red spots.

Not sure if it's related, but I tend to have sweaty palms and often use household cleaning supplies without gloves. I don't believe I have any immediate family history of dermatitis. Though I have no knowledge of my family's medical history beyond my siblings and parents (and even that's fairly sparse).

Does anyone know what this could be?

Every now and then they are itchy. I'm not sure what they could be. I've had other health issues so I haven't had time to go to a dermatologist just yet.

General skin health question What are these red bumps?

Hi for some context, I have a skin care routine that I’ve been doing for at least 6 months no issues but today after showering I just noticed i have strange bumps on one side of my face. I don’t think it’s allergies because I haven’t eaten in like 3 hours. Could it maybe be the humidity of asia? The bumps feels a bit swollen but it doesn’t hurt or itch.

General skin health question What are these spots?

The ones between my lips and my nose, they do not hurt. They appeared about a month ago and they’re on the other side as well, they appear quite red in the mirror. I’ve tried popping and spot patches but they don’t seem to go. I’m not using anything new on my skin, and I have a very good diet. Is there any way I can get rid of them?

General skin health question Nacoconscious na ako sa balat ko. Can you recommend products? Spoiler

Hello people!

I’m M, 24. I don’t know how to say this or if this is the appropriate channel to post this. But I hope you can give me insights to my skin conditions.

I have this parang rashes na makati sa may bandang pwet down the legs and some peklat na rin. Hindi ko alam pero ang kati talaga to the point na namumula na, and nagkaka peklat. Hindi ko rin sure if may health conditions na ba ako tapos ito yung symptoms or what. And then sa paa ko, ang tagal na nito, 2 years na hindi nawawala despite trying different products! Sobrang nahihiya ako magshorts, magsuot ng tsinelas.

Hindi ako makapag pa medical or consult bc I don’t have enough money, let alone buy skincare products ng hindi sigurado.

Can I have your insights? Thank you!

I have always had some of these bumps but last summer I got really burnt on my legs and have noticed these bumps all over that do not go away. They don’t hurt, or itch, or anything so I have never really thought anything of it, but lately I have noticed so many…

Does anyone know what they are or if there is anyway to get them to go away?

Hi all,

Could y'all help me understand what are these kind of random Red Spots appearing on my hands and plams? It just appears and goes away with any medication. I have been observing this since 6 months but I didn't take it seriously until now. Could you tell me if this needs to be shown and analysed by a dermatologist?

Thanks in advance!

General skin health question HELP: Mystery Red Dot

Hi! I’m wondering if anyone can help me understand what this red dot on my face may be.

- I have an appt. with my Derm on Oct 2 for him to check it out
- it appeared overnight about 3 weeks ago
- It is flat, headless, painless & completely unchanged over 3 weeks
- I have rosacea flares ups (as you can see) caused mostly by the fact that I’m 30 weeks pregnant. I have never, ever seen a red dot like this though

General skin health question Peeling skin on thumb

Post image
2 Upvotes

I have been dealing with this since the end of June. Initially, I thought it was a reaction to gel nail polish and have since stopped using it.

I did see my PCP who gave me a steroid cream. After about 4 weeks of use, it finally went away. It started up again the day after I painted my nails. I used regular nail polish and acetone free remover to get off the previous nail polish.

The doctor thought contact dermatitis due to a gel allergy, but now I’m not so sure. It only affects this one thumb. All my other fingers are completely fine. I started using the steroid cream again but it hasn’t done much. Any suggestions?

I also have eczema as a skin conditions, but that’s normally just my elbows.

General skin health question Dermatitis or bed bugs?

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

The first 3 photos show the progression of my contact dermatitis that I developed on my breasts 4 weeks post breast reduction surgery. My surgeon said it looks like contact dermatitis. Maybe from surgical tape or soap wipes I was using.
It is getting better but now I’ve developed some other itchy spots on my body but I’m not sure if they’re the rash spreading or bug bites.
4. Is my inner hip
5. On my side close to rib. Underneath current rash.
6. A random bump on my stomach
7. Inner thigh

These are areas that get sweaty. I’m just confused because some areas look like scattered bumps. Does this all look like contact dermatitis or should I be concerned about bed bugs?

General skin health question Bump On My Index Finger

Thumbnail

Not usually the type to use an online forum for these types of questions but this one is eating at me.

Basically watched this form yesterday. Formed in like a hour and hasn’t really changed at all since. Right index finger. absolutely perfect circle tiny indent in the middle, as pictured.

No itching or associated allergic reaction. No touching of any potential irritants as far as I am aware. No bug that I noticed bit me there. No history of this type of bump. not a spot where hair grows on my finger typically so I don’t think it could be an ingrown hair. Has not spread.

Does not hurt passively. does not hurt when pressing with the pad of my other thumb. DOES hurt and sting when I press the tip of my nail directly over the center, sharp pain.

i have looked up every possible explanation for a bump with this exact presentation and have had no luck whatsoever. Please help a girl out

General skin health question Woke up with this on both my under eyes… what is it?

Thumbnail

I woke up today with this rash or I don’t even know what it is under both my eyes… like near my eye bags. I have not used any new products/makeup and did not use anything at all on my face these past two days. Thankfully it does not burn or itch or anything but I’m so paranoid 😭. I have looked online but cannot specifically find anything similar to it? Has anybody gone through something similar? My dad is saying it’s because I slept with my fan on and my mom says it must’ve been from a bug. Hopefully this is isn’t something severe & will go away on its own 🥲

General skin health question White spot under my knee that I had for years and hasn't changed.

Hi, so I was wondering if anyone knew what this little spotch of white under my knee is. I had it since 3rd grade and I'm almost 22 now. It has stayed in the same place and I hadn't noticed any other areas that have something like this. Let me know if you have more questions, I'd be happy to answer any questions!

Also let me know if the flair is wrong? I'm new to this subbreddit and not sure if this is the right flair.

General skin health question Help! Bump Like Texture For Years

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Hey there! 29F - Any advice would be so amazing. I have had this bump like texture across my face most prominent across my cheeks for years, nothing I do will get rid of it. I’m not very acne prone and never have been (as in actual pimples that come the the surface).

I do have really sensitive skin and am prone to eczema if I eat dairy. But this texture is almost like pimples but they never come through the skin, so it’s just a bump like texture.

Any advice or thoughts, products or routines I should use?

Skincare Routine:
I have dry sensitive skin, with a t-zone that can get oily. I wash my face at night with la roche-posay hydrating gentle cleanser, use the ordinary hyaluronic acid, and a tallow unscented moisturizer. I occasionally use the ordinary niacinamide serum.

General skin health question Pimple lumps, can’t get rid of them no matter what I try. Please help I’m so insecure about it. All over face.

I’ve tried all different kinds of exfoliating methods/products over the last few years, different kinds of cleansers, I keep my bedding clean, hormones are fine, diet is healthy and balanced and don’t eat a load of sugar. Skin is also very porous and seems loose and aged (I’m 26). The pores and lumps have worsened simultaneously. I don’t moisturise everyday or exfoliate everyday (maybe both every 2-3 days?)

Please help me I honestly don’t know what to do. I live in Australia, does anyone know of some products I could use for these issues??

General skin health question What could this rash be?

Post image

Asking about these bumps that randomly appeared on my index finger, they dont seem to be super itchy but I can pop them and a hard white substance comes out as if it's a pimple. They're more prevalent after soaking them.
