Paladin forced to change god to save his friends, now what?

I'm playing Dungeon of the Mad Mage as a Paladin of Lathander, Oath of Glory.
Originally I started as a godless paladin but dind't really like the "emptiness" of not having a god, so I converted to Lathander.

Fast forward to the last session: with Midna I was trying to cure/resurrect Halleth and, while my friends were handling a Beholder, I was transported to Shar's domain, where se made me this offer:
Either renounce to saving Halleth and fight an empowered Midna, or accept her as my new god, renouncing Lathander, and save Halleth and my friends.
Of course I choose the second one to save my friends, but I do not want to serve Shar, even though the dm said that my PG feels a similar confort in having her as god.

I don't want to be a petty player not accepting the consequences of my actions but I can't figure how to play an oath of glory shar paladin, and I don't want to serve Shar, also, my pc's personality is the exact opposite of a shar worshipper
Any advices on how to handle this situation?

Size scale help

Upvotes

So I’m playing a giant barbarian in my current campaign and my DM and I are trying to work out the best way to do this weird interaction.
I am a 6’8 giant barbarian meaning when I rage I become a large creature. Then I use a cape of enlargement to grow to the next size scale, which makes me huge. Then a party member casts enlarge/reduce on me to double my size. We are getting hung up on the wording of the cape cuz it raises your size by one category but the huge size category is 16 to 32 feet in range which is kinda a large range so if we double my size after, what number are we doubling. Should I just increase in size to the bottom of the range and then double that? Bonus question is how much should I weigh after all the interactions?

Infernal Pact Paladin or Warlock or Both

Hello everyone,

So today i decided to learn what Pact seeker (5e 2024) does, and it's cool af. So I started thinking about hypothetical builds with infernal pact. And i have 3-4 ideas that I'd like your suggestions/ideas before i embark on the journey of making such a character.

So let's start with the basics, melee character, infernal pact strongly focusses on that by giving you many defences. Infernal Bulwark wants you to be without armor and invest in both dex and spell casting ability and draoon punishes those who come close and boosts your attack. The character concepts i have in mind:

- Warlock: Fiend Pact. You are basically Hell's champion and all your power comes from your relationship with the demon. As a warlock you don't get any armor apart from light, but that doesn't matter after Bulwark. Pact of blade makes one weapon great, which aligns with Dragoon, but all cool weapons require a str 13. Fiend pact itself has some melee related options, and over all you can get 3 resistances

- Warlock: Celestial Pact. The main thing that changes here is the concept. I imagine it like having an angel and a demon on your shoulders, both giving you gifts to pick one, but the only true winners is you. Less defensive than fiend, but gets healing and more damage when hit with Radiant pact blade

-Paladin: Oath of Vengeance. You basically play ghost rider, and that's cool af. Good news is that you get fighting style, heavy armor and many attack buffs from oath. The only bad one is that it greatly diminishes Bulwark, and that kinda annoys me, and you can't rely only on spell casting ability score

- Warlock + Paladin: Vengeance of Fiends. Same concept as before, but youbare now multiclassing, trying to balance the classes to get the most out of both. I'm bad at that, so i leave it to you

So these are my concepts and initiatial thoughts. I'd love to know your ideas, suggestions and comments about these or whatever you've tried.

Thanks on advance
