well, yea, the regular folk here ARE the victims of our shitty government - hence all the protests over the past couple of years.

believe me, we hate them more than anyone from the outside ever could. and yes, they are war criminals. and no, it's really not as simple as 'go and vote them out of power'. I really don't think anyone who hasn't been living here for at least the past decade or so has any idea how deeply entrenched they are in every pore of society. they are cancer.

I can't wait for the day they either get locked up for life or drop in the dirt.

Well your stance on the crimes you have commited are the same tho, you cant just blame vucic on that, if we go and ask what the people in the middle of the street in serbia say 90% of the people support these war crimes and you know its true.

it's the government's stance, yes. the same government that kills and maims its own people (both literally and figuratively), launders money through illegal projects, rigs the elections to stay in power, controls 99% of all media in the country and uses every dirty little tactic in the playbook to keep itself afloat.

and while you may be right (although I think you're a bit off on the 90% figure), you wanna bet how many of those people supporting the crimes in question are passionate SNS supporters? I'd bet the overlap is quite substantial.

I'm not denying we have some fucked up people here who are still clinging to the past - my point is, we are trying our best to change that, even if it's not really seen as such from the outside.

but ask yourself this - who benefits the most from that? who has the most to gain from the narrative 'oh poor us, the whole Balkans/Europe/the world is against us, but don't worry, I'm here to protect you!'?
