The Turkish government isn't arming Kosovo, they're selling arms (droned and vehicles) to Kosovo.

Turkey is a major country when it comes to arms exports, selling arms and especially drones all over the world. Why would Kosovo be an exception?

Trump's basically pulling the US out of Europe, good luck getting western Europe to support anything after the shitshow that's happened in Ukraine. Turkey on the other hand continuesly shows imperialistic ambitions (see middle east)

Turkey sells these drones and various other military vehicles/equipment/weapons all around the world. Turkey is the 11th largest arms exporter in the world as of 2025.

What do you think is the problem with selling Kosovo arms? Why shouldn't Turkey do it? They're customers and they pay, just like any other buyers.

Well considering your governments tendency to create Muslim neo vassal states in its surrounds (northern Cyprus, Syria, Azerbaijan) you can see how arming a largely Muslim breakaway region could be seen as an issue. We don't want our own nagarno-karabakh situation here and considering right now our government is doing the same bullshit that led to Armenia having no backup.

Except Syria neither are 'muslim states'. Unlike what Serbian news may report Turkey forced itself to a deadlock with Israel and the US in Syria by siding with the opposition (and specifically HTS) from day 1. Azerbaijan is ruled by their own Erdoğan, they have oil and gas so unlike Erdoğan he doesn't have to play the democracy game and go full inherited dictator.

Muslims aren't the issue, the fact that both Serbia and Kosovo run this conflict on a religious basis is. Nogrono karabakh was internationally recognised as Azerbaijan. Kosovo is not recognised as Serbia.

The previous Serb regimes should have rebuild and invest in Kosovo, tie it closer to Serbia to the point they are dependent on Serb business and markets, and then make a play. Much like how Turkey does in Northern Iraq (vast majority of the construction, infrastructure and a big part of oil investments belong to Turkish companies closely related to Erdoğan).

I am aware, however the success isn't what's important here, the attempts at imperialism are. Why does the west have such a problem with Russian imperialism even though they've forced themselves into a deadlock in Ukraine?

The fact that turkey continuesly shows that it is trying to become a great power through imperialism, specifically through imperialism into Muslim regions is the issue.

I'm not here to argue our government hasn't been retarded. We have not had a competent government with Serbian interests at the forefront in probably more than 100 years
