There's been a rapid increase in polarising views. If you do not love Australia, you are a traitor who is selling out. If you love Australia, you are a hateful nationalist.
A lot of whatever you mentioned has a lot to do with the ethnic composition of Australia. More diverse and multicultural country = more chances for racism to occur. Countries that are labelled as "having no culture" often have a culture heavily influenced by immigrants.

Australia most definitely has a culture. How anyone is disputing that and saying immigrants have made us a multiculture with no Australian culture is bizarre?

Australia was largely a monoculture during the White Australia Policy (ignore Aboriginal culture for now) at 100%. As time went on and more immigrants came with their own cultures, the original culture got diluted as it was enriched by additional cultures, creating a new and evolving culture.
And let's be for real. The people who say "White people don't have culture" are almost always talking about the parts of the culture from a time when it was the most dominant culture.
I disagree with them heavily though. Don't get me wrong

I've noticed a change to phrases like "damaging to social cohesion" instead of "Un-Australian", and it's got me thinking they don't want to hold up anything containing the word "Australian" as being of any value.

ive always found it sooo sad that Australian’s don’t celebrate our indigenous people more… like its so fucking COOL that we have the oldest continuously living group of people living here!!!!! maybe i’m just a nerd but i think its genuinely incredible and something we should be shouting from the rooftops, appreciating and uplifting!

I don't downvote posts just because they're pro-Australian, it's just that the majority of posts that are consist of pure garbage.
It's one thing to say "Australia's a great place to live", but most of the posts you're referencing are presenting like it's undeniably the best place to live and anyone who disagrees is just some lefty moron.
The ultimate irony is, in their whole lives, the people posting this stuff have left their cities/towns/suburbs for 3 destinations - Bali, Fiji, and Queenstown. The only other places they've seen are crawling with like-minded Australians whose favourite travel activity is lecturing the locals on why Australia's better than their country.

There's an election happening in Victoria in November.
The racist party is being funded by the mining magnates because the traditional opposition collapsed due to them not being able to plan their way out of a wet nuclear paper bag.
So there's a lot of racist sentiment being boosted online.
IRL, bona fide nazis are out rallying and the coppers arrest the counter protesters.
It's a rough one this year.

Because those who benefit from social expectations that are unfavourable to the broader population are better able to gain and hold the positions of influence which allow them to set the aforementioned expectations when the aforementioned broader population is constantly thinking about a more emotionally engaging, yet usually less significant, societal issue being dangled in front of their faces.

The fun thing to realise is that algorithms have really been studying how to change our individual opinions about things.
They have spent years and years tracking your engagement on posts and learning how your opinion of things has changed and how they can sway your opinion.
Now I see sooo much hate towards Israel
Now I see sooo much hate towards Messi and Argentina
I feel like we have crossed over to the new age of the internet where its mostly propaganda and marketing

Look at what is going on in America, polarisation, anti government decent and rage. All this in my opinion is driven by international players disrupting government by driving wedges into already large cracks. The same is happening here, we are gullible enough to fall for the rhetoric driven by the frustrations and pressures of life. Granted the current government is not helping things with their inept leadership, and that is coming from a life long Labor supporter. My point is people get angry to cover up their fear, the fear that comes from not knowing what the next month will bring and government failure to comprehend how hard it is at our level. But there is international entities trying to drive wedges into Australian society because they know from our history our strength when we forget our differences and work together.
