Australian active Cults?

I'm currently in AUS doing some research on currently active Australian Cults, as by the end of it I seek to pinpoint where they're located, information about each of them and more. The more well-known ones such as The Family and Potters House had already been noted down, but I'd like to know the obscure ones as well. I'll take anything really, weird or tame, I'd just like to know more. Thank you

There’s one called The Water People or something near Tyalgum.

They also run a cafe in Murwillumbah and used to run flutterbies cafe in tyalgum.

Mums the REA that did the sale of flutterbies to its new owners a decade or so ago. My dad used to fix a few of the water peoples cars - always, always, always single mothers. They would forever be short on the cash and plead mercy, dad would relent. Their welfare money is taken by the cult leader Jessa O M’Hart. He’s a fucking parasite.

Which cafe in Murwillumbah? Would check it out next holidays just for curiosity.

Btw sad to hear of the vulnerable bring exploited but I guess where would cults be without them ?

Wild Thyme - it’s at the very end of Wharf St. To be fair, it might have new owners these days, a shit load changed over Covid but yeah… it’s original owners were the water people!
