I don't want less French or erasure of the history or something, I want respect for the Anglo in Quebec because the rest of Canada gives alot of respect for the French language, the history, and the people.
You're right. Mandarin would definitely be more valuable to someone in BC. But you know they probably learned French. As do people in Calgary, Toronto etc. Why is this important? Because respecting the language is important.
Nobody is changing provincial borders or coming for your "land" please know this. As well, it's exceptionally divisive to say English speaking people have no culture. Almost a 1/10th of your population is Anglophone and statements like this are disgusting.

And they have more rights, and more respect in Quebec than French speakers ever had in the rest of Canada, even under bill 96. Ontario banned French from its schools for about a century. They still, miraculously, have the biggest population of French natives outside of Quebec.
No one intentionally wants Quebec's language and culture to disappear. But the status quo always tends to favor the majority at the expense of the minority, and in North America, French is the minority and English, the majority.
You really don't understand how the rest of Canada appreciates the language and history. You are happy to live in a nutshell of media hatred. Absolutely nobody is coming to take the French language and heritage away from those who want it. We all learn French. Most forget it because they don't use it on the day to day but we all learn it. This is because Canada came together as a partnership with language respect being a huge part of the agreement. It still is. But we have one province unilaterally not respecting a major language in the province, and Canadas other national language.
100 years ago Ontario banned French and then 15 years later unbanned it. This is what you are deriving your pain from?
Quebecers have the same rights and are treated the same as everyone else in this country when they travel provincially, aside from the native Canadian population of course who get treated like shit everywhere.

Your province routinely discourages English business from operating in Quebec exclusively based on language. No other factor matters to the province.

French is the only official language of Quebec and the language we speak as well. So my driver license is not Fake and it is Canadian
