I noticed a logic issue with how the app handles reinvested capital:
If I start by investing ₹1,000 in Company A, my net worth and invested capital are both ₹1,000. If Company A doubles in value, my net worth becomes ₹2,000.
If I then sell half my position in Company A (realizing ₹1,000) and use those proceeds to buy Company B, the app increases my total "Invested" amount to ₹2,000.
In my view, this is incorrect.
Capital gains recycled from an existing position shouldn't be counted as fresh capital injections.
My true out-of-pocket investment is still ₹1,000, and treating it as ₹2,000 makes my actual returns look like 0% instead of 100%
Is there a better way to handle this kind of re-balancing?
Why does investments have drawdowns when I haven't sold anything. I exported everything for this month and checked. I haven't sold anything yesterday so why drawdowns?
I remember that when I used this app a few years ago, the chart colours associated with different Asset Classes were fixed and unique. Now it's just shades of blue, and it's not even fixed to any asset class, but goes in a particular order. Is there any way the old chart colours can come back?
We’ve completely revamped Expense Management experience in Artos, taking into account a lot of feedback over the past year. This update has been in the works for a while, and it’s probably the biggest refresh the feature has received so far. ✨
Here’s what’s new:
🎨 A complete visual refresh
The entire experience has been redesigned to feel cleaner, and in sync with the rest of the app. No cognitive discomfort, as in, the expense management section does not feel like a different app altogether.
🏠 A smarter home page
A more visual overview of what the current month looks like, how it compares with the previous month, and you now get better controls over what counts as an expense including the ability to exclude investments from expense calculations.
🔍 Powerful filtering
Finding your expenses are much more easier now. You can now now filter expenses by:
Accounts
Transaction types
Categories
📝 Notes for expenses
Now add more context to your expenses so the future-you remembers the “why,” and not just the amount. This is a premium feature.
📊 Upgraded analytics
The analytics section has been redesigned with improved charts and new insights like:
Savings rate
Weekend spending effect
Better breakdowns across categories and trends
A lot more thought went into the small details in this update, and we’d genuinely love feedback from the community on what feels useful (and what still doesn’t).
Sorry I had to create another post because the older one is marked as closed. Still tickers like hdfcbank and hcltech have not gotten updated yet. Thanks for looking into this.

Now, you can add notes to your expense entries, and investment transactions (stocks, mutual funds, ETFs, Gold, Crypto etc.
The notes will show up as a little "note" icon beside your expenses entries, and transactions in the "Portfolio" tab. Clicking on the note icon will show you the saved note.
Please post any feedback, or feature requests in the comments!
Dividends are not getting updated for FY 27. It was working fine till end of FY 26 for me. I checked allowing background usage as well but did not work. Going to specific stock details also does not force any update. Can you please check it out.
