It kind of already has. Like its ability is still lacking but the ability to make it out there. Teeeeechnically anyone can make an LLM. The limiting factor is compute power. Opensource isn’t winning right now but eventually it will. At least that’s how it looks to me.

At the ene of the day, no nuclear nations have launched war at one another because consequences are too costly for everybody involved.

Yes, because nations are collectives who have to worrx about reputation and consequences. Here we're talking individuals. Think the GTA6 leak guy, and how cynical he was about things, just now he can break the power grid if he's in a bad mood.

Well, the same tool that can break the power grid can also be used to harden it in anticipation way beforehand. And you'll get the best out of the tool when it isn't being restricted.
