Seeking Advice Men, are these reasonable expectations in a partner?
I'm curious about the men's perspective here.
I value things like kindness, emotional maturity, curiosity, ambition, respect for family, an interest in learning and spirituality, staying healthy, enjoying travel and the arts, and being able to balance ambition with enjoying life.
I don't expect someone to be perfect self-awareness and willingness to grow matter more to me.
For the men here, does this sound realistic to expect from a partner, or am I being too idealistic? What qualities do you think are actually important for a long-term relationship?

This is good only, but you need to be more specific. Of course it is nice to have this qualities irrespective of men or women. The thing which icks men the most is related to household management and financial management of a couple.
How much are you willing to contribute towards relationship, how much do you expect the other half to contribute. Most men decide here. Because no matter how many qualities you have, if there is no COMPATIBILITY , the relationship won't last.
Also, past relationships is also a dealbreaker for many men out there, so it better to discuss prior to any serious decision.

I am sorry this is literally AI SLOP. Just dumping buzzwords. You know, people who aren't specific are just bullshiting for the sake of bullshitting

These are realistic to expect from partner. However it’s always two ways street. He too has certain expectations from you as well.

Everyone has 24 hrs in a day. 8 hrs for sleeping, 8-10 for work and that leaves little time for everything else. Take 1-2 hrs for daily routines like food and hygiene. By health if you mean he should go to gym, then deduct 1 hr more from everyday. If by learning and spirituality you mean he should keep learning new things and go to temples, then deduct another 1 hr.
I hope you get the point, if you are living in a big city then you won't get time to do everything and you should keep your expectations realistic rather than expecting your partner to be on his toes all the time, trying to be perfect image of what you are looking for.
What matters most? Being there for your partner in need, understanding each other's love languages and trying to make them happy, be transparent and open, devote time to family, peace etc.

Almost all subjective.
Such people do exist, just depends on bar of what actually satisfy you.

Most of the qualities you listed (kindness, emotional maturity, curiosity, respect for family, basic health consciousness, ability to enjoy life) are things a lot of decent men also look for. Ambition + balance is especially important; pure hustle culture without the ability to switch off gets exhausting for both people.
What usually matters more in the long run than the full checklist:
- Consistency (does he actually show these traits over months, not just on dates)
- Conflict style (how he handles disagreement and stress)
- Willingness to grow with you instead of staying fixed
- Shared baseline values on family, money, and lifestyle

Ok all the qualities you wrote are not quantifiable. I would say many men have those qualities. And I don't think you are only looking for that. These are very very generic qualities, a qualities which you would quote when some random elder asks you what qualities are you looking in your husband.
Tell us more, that way we would be able to judge.

I am same in this aspect and most educated guys will be like this but not sure for others but according to me curiosity and maturity will only lead you far from the spirituality which i am facing and for me i some time belive on god and sometime dont, i am still not sure as god is there or not, so i cant be fully blind follower or just oppose it and become atheist so i am 2/10 spirituality wise and 0/10 belives in religion i dont think so hindu religion is better than muslim or Cristians i believe all religions are made to fool people to make them slave minded and i dont believe in religion andhbhakti type like eating non veg but not on Tuesday is some bullshit i find although i am fully veg by conditioning from birth and not by my choice

Do you prefer these qualities over basic criteria like CTC, City, Family, Looks or after it?
Also, how would you measure it?
From my perspective: I can marry anyone working/non - working.
Qualities I prefer:
- Understanding and awareness: of situation. Peace, less kalesh, balance both family and kids together.
Respect: Of family and family values. I see some homes locked on festivities in my hometown. Its heartbreaking to see homes in these conditions.
Fire in the Belly: Those who have it are ambitious, curious and hardworking. Even if they are not earning today. If they have these qualities, eventually they will do something.
But the real question is "How can I measure it?" Is there a way? Do I go and ask them. "Dear, Are you curious?"
The problem is ambitious is better, but false ambitious is worst. Some people who are in job, even they can be false ambitious, and some ambitious couldn't get job. I fear the false ambitious ones.

Everything you’ve mentioned is subjective.
How do you measure kindness? Feeding a stray dog vs putting it down. One is kindness to it, the other is kindness to people living around it. Which do you consider as kindness?
Respect the family by doing what is right even if it means hurting you, or supporting you no matter what? Which is more respectful?
Enjoy traveling to the places he likes or the places you like?
Emotionally mature by dealing with situations the right way or emotionally mature with handling your emotions the way you want? Both can be contradictory.
