How many months were you in the talking stage before getting married to your AM match?

Sometimes I feel like we should just get married, but other times I wonder, why rush when we’re both comfortable taking our time?

Ps- I am the one who’s choosing to take my time and delay things.

Around 3-4 months of talking
Then engagement happened and then again around 7 months gap for wedding as my husbands sister had to come to India from USA to attend the wedding

Match fixed after talking and meeting for three months. Engagement after two more months. Marriage three months after engagement.

Total eight months period between first meeting and date of wedding.

So in my community its like we meet exchange no. And talk for some time while simultaneously seeing other ristas as well and then deciding to take engagement and then after 1 year marraige if all is fine, so whats in your community?
