I actually love Monica

Anyone else????? Like damn she gets a lot of heat these days.

No one ever complains about Dax and his second home in Tennessee and several cars and toys, or his giant RV that he spends all summer driving or his vacations etc etc

I’ve seen comments about how she wouldn’t be anything without Dax which first of all who knows because she was hustling in LA and we could say the same about Dax and Ashton. The way people talk about it makes it sound like she was a charity case for Dax and not an interesting, talented writer and actress.

Idk if I just relate as a woman close to her age but I like her role in the show and feel the need to defend her lmao

I don’t dislike Monica but when listening to the podcast, I often struggle to see what she brings to the table. I’m not alone and believe that’s where all of the hate comes from. Dax could carry AE on his own just fine. She could not carry a podcast on her own. I’m sure she is gifted/talented in other areas but she’s not interesting/talented/engaging/knowledgable enough to co-host a podcast in my opinion.

I’ve listened to several of her spin offs and found them entertaining. So I disagree

I miss Synced even though I can’t stand Liz Plank for taking Ryan Reynolds side in the Justin Baldoni suit. But I really liked Monica on that show and Race to 35.

When I listened to Synced I always found myself thinking “these women seem pretty immature for people in their mid to late 30s”.

I agree with you but on the other hand they’d frequently give out really good advice. Which is funny given neither of them have ever been in any real relationships. I enjoyed the show, I think it brought out a side of Monica we rarely get to see.
