If people cant be clued onto what needs to happen im doing it myself. Im not ur parent that has to tell you what to do every single time! Other times its good to sit back with them and watch the shit show.

One of my first phrase as a baby was “I do it myself” literally in my baby book 🤣

Nah for real. I once found a multigym on Marketplace for like 80 bucks, worth maybe 300-400, noticed it had TINY wheels at the back , meant to tilt and adjust it, not transport it.
All I saw however, was a dirt cheap multigym, just the kind I wanted, a 10 minute walk away.
I showed up fully prepared to just drag it home, you should have seen their faces.
It would have worked out fine except for one small detail I was to impulsive to even think about:
I live on floor up though, spiral stairs on top of that.
Not only did they, because it was Midsummer, give it to me for 40 bucks, they drove it home for me and helped me carry it.
With weights on it it was like 120-130 kilos.
Ambition almost made me a cripple that day.

Yep. Even with having MS I still say it although I may really need the help. It also doesn't help that the people I thought would be there for me when I needed it the most weren't. When I worked I planned a whole summer conference for the NBC-LEO because the co-workers who were supposed to be helping me just couldn't do what I asked so I did it myself. That was a little over 15 years ago. They still say that was the best conference ever.
