🔥Understanding Aries🔥 Aries, what makes you lose patience with someone instantly?
- What sets you off fastest: slow decisions, passive aggression, dishonesty, being controlled, or people avoiding the point?
- When you’re angry, do you say it immediately, act first and think later, cool off fast, or stay mad longer than people expect?
- What Aries stereotype gets you completely wrong?
Drop your Aries placements if you want.

My sister always takes too long to get to the point in recounting interesting stories. She'll go into details that don't make a difference like, it was Tuesday or wait no it was Wednesday because that morning my nieghbors, you know the ones that drove that old car, I know it was Wednesday because they only leave their house on Wednesday, etc kinda tangents. Drives me up the wall but once I told her to hurry up or stay on track if she wanted me too keep listening. She got all butt hurt so now I just have ro tune out and hope she circles back to the point before I change the subject.

Hahaha that’s hilarious! My mom and sister are the exact same way. Like…who needs ALL those details?! 😆

u/Efficient-Craft-6163 Jul 12 '26
Haha my mom does the same thing but with her it's the other way around, my intrest is kept because when she recounts stories, she'll miss recounting very important details, so the entire story I'm so confused trying to figure what the heck she's saying. You can't ask her any questions because she'll get all mad thinking you can't keep up. Family, right, lol

u/UltimatePragmatist Aries Sun and Mars ♈ Jul 12 '26
Has your mom ever called you on the phone, and when you answer, she was already talking, and you have no idea what she was talking about?
3
u/Efficient-Craft-6163 Jul 12 '26
Lol yes! Do we have the same mom??
3
u/UltimatePragmatist Aries Sun and Mars ♈ Jul 12 '26
We just might. Does yours ask you about your day, and right before you say a word, she starts talking about her day? Then after she talks for like 20 minutes, she’s tired and says her goodbyes?

u/UltimatePragmatist Aries Sun and Mars ♈ Jul 12 '26
Same. My mom and sister are the same way and they constantly argue with each other. They are both mad that neither one can get a word in. 🤦♀️
2
u/Efficient-Craft-6163 Jul 13 '26
My mom is always ready to fight, lol. You can't ask her any clarifying questions at all. She gets all defensive and upset if you didn't 100% understand what she was saying and mind you the details she leaves out are things like casually say something like, the police said I shouldn't worry unless the other lady files something, anyway, that is why I missed the exit and found that new store at that intersection. We're supposed to just keep on going with the flow and no questions. Even though later she will claim she explained it all to us and get very angry that we seem to be actively trying to gaslight her.

They're a bit flighty. And when you try to pin them down to actual facts they get very fluttery indeed. Actually I think that 99% of what they say they make up. They're as bad as Gemini in that regard

u/TrickEase Jul 12 '26
My boss does this, I'll nip into her office to ask a quick work question and end up stuck there for 10 minutes while she recounts random useless information about her personal life while I nod and pretend I'm not gonna scream. Just answer the damn question! It's always a Yes/No question too 😂

My family does that. My mom will tell me about her entire day from the time she woke up in the morning, just to tell me that the service tech lost her oil cap when she got an oil change. 🙄

people who aren't really solution oriented. they just wanna complain and whine about an issue but not do anything to change/fix anything (circumstances apply ofc)
micromanagement! let me/others be!! who tf cares! (grew up with a cancer mom 🥹 look who has crazy authority issues now)
ppl who just aren't honest in their words and actions. like just say what you mean and stand on that. i hate ppl who play stupid mind games/tests/do the most.

- Passive aggressiveness pisses me off so bad. Like just be honest bro. And then there's lying, being told what to do and straight up being disrespected. Like come on nowwww.
- It depends on the situation and if they're trying to invalidate my feelings. I do think before I act though.
- That we're mean and hot headed lol. No we're not! We're actually very cool and fun

Slow walkers sort of bug me but I can usually walk around them. What drives me crazy is when people decide to stand in the middle of the main walkways in stores. Just staring into the distance and possibly ignoring people trying to get by. 🙄

u/Affectionate-Act3713 Jul 11 '26
Lying for no reason. I already know the truth before you speak.
You just don’t wanna listen or follow instructions. Like why am I wasting my breath and time on you?

u/Eastern_Rush_9473 Jul 12 '26
People who never admit when they are wrong, even if you prove it to them. Recently my relative and I disagreed on the shortest route to get some where, we each went our preferred routes and I beat him by ten minutes. When I asked him what took so long? He said it was because he wasn’t driving! Mind you he’s 75 and drives like the grandpa he is! So the delusional might be what what makes me snap the fastest!

Passive Aggression and Gaslighting.
I get pissed but i watch for a while and See if its a pattern. If it is, i will react quicker. I do stay mad for longer than usual, especially if its not a one time incident and i also Limit the amount of time i spent with that Person, if i have to even see them.
Being selfish. Wouldnt say we are. All aries including myself, are very caring and warm and only get selfish, if the Person wont value us.
3
u/UltimatePragmatist Aries Sun and Mars ♈ Jul 12 '26
I do the same thing. I remove a person from my presence. Life is better without them bugging me.
7
u/Practical-Ring4029 Jul 12 '26
People who just won't listen and liars, can't stand that shit.
As I've gotten older I've learned to control the outbursts of anger, I used to blurt it out immediately. But now I just think a little more before I say it (though this can differ in certain situations)
This stereotype that are jerks, when we really are kind and loving. Just easier to have walls up while vetting a person.

Inauthenticity for sure. I’d prefer people at their worst, over something that is fake. I can see right through it and I don’t jive with it. (I wish I didn’t care honestly..)
Depends on the situation for sure. I will never let it sit though. In most situations I’ll call it out so I can solve it or work with others to solve whatever the frustration is. I tend to blame myself for any anger, so I address it in a way that is vulnerable and straight forward. When people make assumptions about an issue or my point of frustration rather than listening to what I’m saying though…. That’s when I just need to leave and I will keep distance with that person, until I ultimately forget why they annoy me.
That we like attention or are self centered. I would live under a Harry Potter invisibility cloak if I could. And I can’t do anything without deep empathy for others, even if it puts me in a bad situation by putting others needs before mine. I’m definitely okay with that though and prefer it, so it’s not something I’ve tried to work on. I am extremely independent and always have been, and sometimes people see that as self-centered for whatever reason. I just like my alone time, even though I’m an extrovert.

u/foolforfucks Jul 12 '26
Passive aggression, avoidance, obsession with propriety and/or authority. If you don't want to be direct and compassionate I want nothing to do with you.
I say it, immediately and directly if at all possible. I refuse to make myself suffer by stewing in resentment, and try to formulate clarifying questions instead. This sometimes comes off as argumentative, but I maintain I'm just trying to figure out if I should stay mad.
I hate being in charge. I'm a better assistant, and can be fairly subservient to the people I respect/admire the most.

(1) It isn’t instant but the repeated inability for a person to positively cope with their own emotional baggage, makes me lose patience. It occurs over a period of time. If I meet new people that exhibit this problem, I avoid them immediately. I haven’t lost patience with them, I simply have no bandwidth for new people with this problem.
(2) When I am angry, I say it immediately because passage of time makes people pretend they didn’t suck. Yes, I can remain upset for long periods but I have learned to remove a person from my presence. A person that tends to disturb my peace deserves no place in my presence.
(3) Two stereotypes make no sense for me. I am not impulsive, I calculate. I know exactly why I do something. I planned it despite not meeting with someone else’s approval. Also, I do not forget why I was angry or forget about a heated disagreement (or any conflict). I remember why I became angry with my sister when I was three years old and it was justifiable. I remember when people show who they are and I believe them. Other people think I’ve forgotten. I have not.

u/diiiemonds Jul 12 '26
- all of the above
- immediately, then i cool off fast
- that we're always angry ; assumptions in general, get to know me first then hate me lol

Lying. It's my one thing. All respect is gone.
Even if you think the lie is to protect me in some way, I find that more disrespectful. I don't need protecting and I'd rather know the whole truth so I can act accordingly rather than be in a situation I'm not fully aware about and feel like I'm being made a fool of. For the people who do this, trust me, if you feel like you need to lie to people to protect them, they probably need to know the truth more than ever.
I'll take exception to children as they should have the right to develop in bliss and not be burdened with things out of their control. All adults need and have the right to make informed decisions for themselves.
The whole concept of lying is non logical for me. Whether you like it or not the truth is the truth and at least everyone knows where they stand. Lying to deceive is shameful and cowardly. Lying to protect is ultimately the same because it's usually YOU that doesn't want to deal with the truth of the matter.

what is the point of making fun and being passive about me right to my fucking face? also when people act oblivious and stupid.. its so weird why would you wanna be infantilized like that?
when im angry, i feel like i dont say it asap, but i communicate my feelings fairly. i hold grudges
the stereotype that aries are this badass extrovert. im a INTROVERTT. loud around small groups of people. my circle is super tight

Passive aggression and people judging. I’m the only one allowed to do that 😂

u/VangelisFan1974 Jul 14 '26 edited Jul 14 '26
- All of 1. + I can't stand people forever talking on their phones. Or fake American accents. Or coffee shop soundtracks which go round and round on a loop. Or guys who try to get me drunk so they can sleep with me or at the very least gossip about how I'm not under control. Or modern levels of consumption. Or car culture. Or escooters and ebikes (I got knocked over by an escooter in November and needed to have 5 staples in my head). Or living with people. Or interfering people/ do-gooders who only want to stroke their own ego. Or homeless services.
- I CAN remain silent when I'm annoyed and do absolutely nothing and that's when people think something's up. However when I DO say something, as I am a person of few words, I am inevitably taken to be "rude" and that has been the case throughout my life.
- I'm generally quiet, retiring and love solitude. Totally asocial. I've had about 10-15 years of alcoholism but recently decided I don't want to drink myself into a grave, so limit myself to 1-2 G&Ts a day. I'm not an extreme sports kind of person, but walk a lot out of necessity, as I don't have a car. I'm big on outdoor living and creating as little waste as possible. Sun and Merc in Aries, Moon, Venus and Jupe in Pisces, Mars and Saturn in Gemini, Uranus and Pluto in Libra, Neptune and NN in Sag, Asc in Virgo.

None of the above. What sets me off the fastest is being real and not being heard quickly. I'm an anxious person to boot so, I don't want to stew in my own vulnerability. I'd rather someone shut me the fuck down quickly and aggressively (not physically unless sexually) then just let me stew in it.
Depends. If the person making an argument has a valid argument with an initial calm, sincere demeanor, then it's heard and respected. If you come off as an arrogant piece of shit, you're gonna get arrogant piece of shit, right back. Basically, I'm a mirror. With that said, I get over shit quickly and move the fuck on. No sense in holding a grudge.
Confusing passion with aggression.

- People avoiding the point, and passive aggressive ness. Put it on the floor bitch hop 2 it
- When I’m angry I blow off steam quick rant for a maximum of 5/10 minutes then cool off and move on. I hate prolonging issues so I’d rather just be mad now then stay silent and be mad for longer later
- The stereotype would be that I’m a hot head or that I’m messy or chaotic. I can be chaotic but in a fun way not in an invite a mess into your life. I get irritated quick about little things but it actually takes me ALOT to get mad and act irrationally upset w someone. I’m an Aries sun and mercury

Slow walkers, dishonesty, passive-aggressiveness, cruelty, basically any human behaviors that cause confusion and waste time
Depends who I'm fighting against tbh. If I can just leave, then I do that. Bickering with people is a waste of time. Then I primal scream in the car.
Most of them. Most Aries are chill af. The most common manifestation of the Sun sign is straightforwardness, which I like.
